Facilities and Access

Rainbow Bay Park Site provides the easiest beach access in central Eleuthera. A paved road leads directly to designated parking, and the short walk to the sand is straightforward. Picnic tables and small thatched structures offer shade and a place to set up for the day.

The beach is popular with local residents, so do not expect complete solitude, especially on weekends. However, the friendly atmosphere and practical amenities make it a reliable choice for visitors seeking a low-hassle beach day.

Getting there

From the north, turn right onto Wandering Shore Drive about one mile past Rainbow Inn, a distinctive two-story octagonal building. Continue a quarter mile to the parking area. From the south, look for Big Rock restaurant and store with its large unpaved parking lot. Two miles beyond, turn left onto Pirate Lane, then immediately left onto Wandering Shore Drive and continue to the park site.
