About Let's Geaux
Let's Geaux is our boat. She is the 2021 Bali Catspace our charter company is named after, and Abaco Sail manages her alongside the rest of the fleet from Conch Inn Marina in Marsh Harbour. That gives you two quite different ways to spend a week aboard. Through Abaco Sail, you can charter her at the seasonal rates on this page, bareboat or with a local skipper added. Through us, you can book her crewed, with Captain Ron running the boat while your group gets on with the holiday.
She is a four-cabin Catspace: two double cabins in each hull, four heads and four showers, and berths for eight, which is also the number we recommend. Her papers allow ten passengers, and the forepeak has one fold-away bunk, but it is sized for a small child rather than an adult. At the back of the saloon, the glass door lifts up and out of the way, garage-style, so the room opens onto the cockpit. The galley on the main deck has an oven, stove, fridge, freezer and hot water.
She is set up for nights away from the dock. Air conditioning runs in all four cabins, with an onboard generator, solar panels and a wind generator, an inverter, and a watermaker to top up her 185-gallon tank. The electric windlass handles a Delta main anchor, and a spare fluke anchor is carried aboard. A 3-metre RIB with a 15 hp outboard gets you ashore, and there are mosquito nets, a bimini for shade, freshwater showers in the cockpit and at the stern, and a bathing platform with a ladder.
Under sail she carries a full-batten main, which drops neatly into its lazy bag between the lazy jacks, and a furling genoa. Two 30 hp Yanmar diesels cover the calm days. Her 58-gallon fuel tank is smaller than her sisters', but the distances here are short. Hope Town is about four nautical miles from the dock, and Man-O-War and Great Guana to the north-east or Little Harbour to the south are a few hours under sail. With 3.6 feet of draft, she can anchor close in over sand.
If nobody in your group wants to skipper, the crewed option is ours. Captain Ronald Rolle, a Bahamian who has sailed these waters all his life, runs Let's Geaux for our guests in one of two ways. With Captain by Day, he sails with you through the day and leaves the boat each evening, so all four cabins stay with your party. Fully Captained, he lives aboard and sleeps in one of them. It is a captain-only charter with no chef: you stock the galley yourselves at Maxwell's in Marsh Harbour. Crewed rates are separate and listed on our Let's Geaux yacht page.
Booked through Abaco Sail, she costs from $4,125 a week (August 1–18) to $12,375 (December 24 – January 6) in the 2026/27 booking year, plus the mandatory Comfort Pack at $1,000 for the first week and $600 for each extra week. Bahamian VAT of 10% is included, and a 4% cruising tax is added. The Comfort Pack pays for linen and towels, the dinghy, your cruising and fishing permits, a chart briefing, a welcome pack, end-of-charter cleaning and a damage deposit reduction waiver. Fuel is not included, and the refundable security deposit is $1,500.

Marsh Harbour, Abaco
Conch Inn Marina, Slip 14, Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas
Operated by Abaco Sail at Conch Inn Marina
All twelve Abaco Sail catamarans we list start and finish their charters at Conch Inn Marina in Marsh Harbour, the main town on Great Abaco. Abaco Sail's own dock team prepares each boat, hands her over at Slip 14 and takes her back at the end of your trip, and the sheltered water of the Sea of Abaco begins just outside the harbour.

Let's Geaux: common questions
Who owns Let's Geaux, and who runs her charters?
We do: she is Sail Abacos' own boat, and Abaco Sail manages her from Conch Inn Marina in Marsh Harbour. Bareboat and skippered weeks run through Abaco Sail at the rates on this page, while crewed charters with Captain Ron are booked through us. Either way, one inquiry to us is enough to get started.
What is the difference between a bareboat week and a crewed week?
On a bareboat week, you or someone in your party skippers the boat after Abaco Sail's chart briefing, at the seasonal weekly rates plus the Comfort Pack, and Abaco Sail can add a local skipper if you want one. Crewed is our own option: Captain Ron runs the boat, either by day only or living aboard, at separate rates shown on our Let's Geaux yacht page. Neither includes a chef, so you provision the galley yourselves.
How many people can sleep aboard?
Eight, in four double cabins with four heads. Her papers register her for ten passengers and the forepeak has a fold-away bunk, but only a small child fits it, so eight is the number we recommend. On a Fully Captained crewed charter, Captain Ron uses one of the four cabins.
What does a bareboat week on Let's Geaux cost?
Through Abaco Sail, 2026/27 weekly rates run from $4,125 (August 1–18) to $12,375 (December 24 – January 6), per boat, plus the mandatory Comfort Pack at $1,000 for the first week and $600 for each extra week. The rates include 10% Bahamian VAT, and a 4% cruising tax is added. Charters can be as short as four nights, each night billed at one-sixth of the weekly rate, and discounts of up to 15% apply for repeat guests, bookings six or more months ahead, and charters of two weeks or longer.
Is she equipped for nights at anchor?
Yes. Abaco Sail lists air conditioning in all cabins, an onboard generator, solar panels and a wind generator, a watermaker, an inverter, an electric windlass with a Delta anchor and a spare fluke anchor, a 3 m RIB with a 15 hp outboard, mosquito nets, a bimini, and freshwater showers in the cockpit and at the stern. Abaco Sail confirms exactly what is aboard when your booking is made.
